STALKER 2 Game News: Xbox Exclusivity Would Be Very Short Posted on 04/05/2021 at 9:34 PM Yesterday, STALKER 2 was back in the news through an interview with GSC developers granted Gaming Bolt. You mentioned the exclusivity granted to Xbox, but a document published by The Verge slightly changes the assessment of the speech given. As you can imagine, this document in question was published in the context of the Epic vs Apple case, which is downright rich in lessons. Accordingly, the Xbox would only last three months without STALKER 2, after which the title would be free to be published everywhere. This doesn’t necessarily contradict the fact that the title is not currently planned for PS5, but rather puts the whole thing into perspective. The same document mentions Tetris Effect: Connected, which would be eligible for exclusive Xbox support updates for six months, and The Gunk, which in turn appears to be definitely exclusive. Obviously, neither Microsoft nor GSC Games Wold have yet commented on this information. So we have to wait a bit to find out what exactly is going on.
