E3 2021 Event News: A first publisher announces its withdrawal Published on May 1st, 2021 at 11:07 am From June 12th to 15th, 2021, E3 will celebrate its comeback in a fully digital version. The list of participants is growing regularly, but we learned last night that an editor had canceled his participation. That publisher is Konami, who announces that he will not be ready for the show and therefore will have nothing to show. The publisher, which was one of the very first announced participants, is therefore sailing off and may give us an appointment later in the year. To avoid controversy, Konami states that this withdrawal has nothing to do with ESA, the show’s organizer, and that it is not a desire to distance oneself. Due to timing, we won’t be ready to be at E3 this year. We want to reassure our fans by letting them know that we are fully developing a number of key projects. So look forward to the announcements in the coming months. Although we will not be attending this year, we have great respect for ESA and we believe (the edition) 2021 will be a great success. We will continue to support the ESA and wish this year’s participants all the best.
