COD Warzone and Modern Warfare game news: DLSS finally available for better rendering! Posted on Apr 22, 2021 at 11:07 am, updated on Apr 22, 2021 at 11:07 am Ray tracing first appeared in the Call of Duty series thanks to the Modern Warfare episode. But since then, only the most recent Black Ops Cold War had benefited from DLSS. Nvidia has addressed this deficiency and added DLSS to Modern Warfare and Warzone. Starting today, DLSS is available under Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. As a reminder, DLSS, or Deep Learning Super-Sampling in Molière’s language, is a technology reserved for Nvidia RTX 20 and RTX 30 series graphics cards. It makes it possible to artificially increase the resolution of an image to a higher resolution your monitor with few resources. In the case of a video game, it is possible to increase the resolution of a game while losing a few frames per second, or in any case less than if the resolution of the game was actually increased. Ray tracing, which uses a lot of resources, is almost an essential technology to have a high frame rate. Nvidia promises us significant improvements (up to 70% in 4K) in terms of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare: DLSS is therefore available in Call of Duty: Warzone as well as in campaign mode and in the campaign modes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer and Spec ops. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War already had this feature.
