Marvel Culture News: Shang-Chi reveals itself with a first trailer that was published on April 19, 2021 at 7:53 p.m. and updated on April 19, 2021 at 7:53 p.m. The Avengers cycle seems to be over with Endgame and yet the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is further developing its particularly consistent tradition. After WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier or even Black Widow, all of which hit theaters on July 7th, it’s Shang-Chi’s turn to move into the limelight. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the future Marvel House feature film, has just found a release date – the film will hit theaters on September 1, 2021 – and of course Disney is offering us to celebrate this great event Trailer (available above) and a first poster (available below). Hang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings tell you the story of Shang-Chi, a master of Kung Fu, that of Simu Liu (Blood and Water), who has to face his dark past. And for that he is only offered one choice, to get his fists to speak again. This adaptation of the comic strip of the same name, first published in 1979, is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (States of Grace) and invites you to find Tony Leung in the role of Mandarin – the big bad guy we already saw in Iron Man 3 – but also Michelle Yeoh (tiger and dragon) and Awkwafina (Raya and the last dragon).
