NieR Automata Game News: An Official Patch Announced for the Steam Version Published on 04/13/2021 at 2:16 PM NieR Automata was originally released in 2017 and has a large following, mostly focused on the writing of the game as well as its compositions boasts musical. A few weeks ago, the title arrived in both the Microsoft Store and Game Pass. Before that, more precisely in 2019, NieR Automata was released on Steam. A different version than the one recently released by Microsoft, which recently angered gamers and a wave of bombing attacks. In fact, the public has found that the Microsoft version of the game runs very well while the Steam version has resolution issues and crashes. Until then, Square Enix hadn’t responded, leaving it to gamers to come up with mods that would improve the Steam version’s performance. Following these reactions, the official licensing account posted a tweet indicating that things are about to change. The developers announced that an official upgrade patch for the Steam version of the game is in development. However, they do not disclose a release date and we do not know what exactly this patch will be in, even if we suspect given the issues that have been encountered and reported.
