Streets of Rage 4 – DLC and free content for all Beat’em

Game News Streets of Rage 4 – A DLC and free content for the Beat’em all Posted on April 8th, 2021 at 7:01 pm, updated on April 8th, 2021 at 7:04 pm Mr. X did what to watch out for! Streets of Rage 4, last year’s excellent Beat’em, is finally back, offering players the chance to put their gloves back on in an attempt to undermine the evil Mr. X’s plans. In addition, the publisher and co-developer Dotemu as well as Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games offer us additional free content and a first paid DLC. Streets of Rage 4 was a real hit both critically and commercially! The creation of Lizardcube doesn’t hide it as it just announced the good news: Streets of Rage 4 is currently topping 2.5 million downloads. To celebrate this great event, the neo-retro beat’em-up is offering players a first DLC with three new playable characters and a free update. Let’s start with the brand new expansion to the game. The latter is called Mr. X Nightmare, players can discover three new playable characters, starting with the muscular officer Estel Aguirre. The latter, who we saw as boss in the first game, decides to leave her post to join Axel Stone’s group. Estel first appeared in the game as an intimidating boss, using her fists and feet like no one to kick the ass of anyone who proves ruthless enough to get in their way. The other two characters added by this new content were unfortunately not communicated, but we envision good ol ‘Max Thunder being back in the game. Of course, this is not the only novelty of this DLC as Mr. X Nightmare also introduces new enemies, the ability to customize the fighting style of our heroes, a handful of new music tracks by Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, League of Legends), new weapons and especially a brand new game mode called Survival. The latter offers players who need challenges to face particularly difficult events. Finally, the free update of Streets of Rage 4 offers an additional level of difficulty, namely the Mania + mode, new colorimetric options and a complete training system. As a reminder, Streets of Rage 4 is already available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. You’ll Also Like: By JeromeJoffard, Jeuxvideo.com Editor MPTwitter
