Good news Akira: pre-orders for the remaster in the Blu-ray 4K version are open. Pre-orders are open and a steel book will be delivered with the Blu-ray.

Akira’s conspiracy takes place in Neo-Tokyo in 2019. The latter is preparing to host the Olympic Games after being destroyed by a mysterious explosion 30 years earlier. As the youth slowly sink into drugs and crime, the action revolves around Kanéda and Tetsuo, two childhood friends who are members of a biker gang. And during a robbery against a rival gang, the Clowns, Tetsuo collides with a strange child on a motorcycle.
