Sony’s next-generation PlayStation 5 console, released on November 19th, is still very hard to find for gamers. But some artists have managed to get their hands on it. After a gold machine or even a giant version, a YouTuber had fun developing a machine whose exterior is entirely made of brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc that gives it an almost golden yellow color.
It was Matthew Perks who tackled this creation. The first step was to get the famous console and completely disassemble it. Then he used the outer covers as a template so he wouldn’t miss them. He then used a blowtorch and specialist tools to carefully shape the brass. One of the only difficulties concerns the WiFi signal, which was able to be tuned by placing the antenna on the back of the PS5.
