Anthem: An important new beginning at BioWare

Anthem Game News: Major Fresh Start at BioWare Posted on 03/29/2021 at 10:01 am After ten years at the company, Jonathan Warner, director of Anthem, said on Twitter that he has left BioWare, a decision that is certainly tied to the announcement the official cessation of development of the Anthem Next redesign at the end of February. This is an important fresh start at BioWare. Last December, Casey Hudson, General Manager, and Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of the future Dragon Age 4, announced their retirement from the company. Now it’s up to another big name to leave the studio, namely Jonathan Warner, director of Anthem. In the tweet announcing the news last Friday, he thanked BioWare without explaining why he left. Today is my last day at BioWare. I am going to do some new things. BioWare has been the home of my grateful heart for almost 10 years and I want to wish you all the best. (Dragon Age) (Mass Effect) and (Star Wars: The Old Republic) are in good hands and I can’t wait to play them on this side of the screen. #Thank you #BioWareSo, today is my last day at BioWare, I do new things.

As a reminder, in February 2020, BioWare said it was working on a major overhaul of the game called Anthem Next to address the many issues the title had known about since its inception. In the meantime, keep in mind that the studio is currently focused on the development of Dragon Age 4, of which few works of art have been revealed while we don’t yet know about the title or the release date.
