The news game Eiyuden Chronicle will not be exclusive to a platform on the PC. Announced last summer for a scheduled release in 2022, the Eiyuden Chronicle is expected on PC. However, the increase in the number of platforms worried some of the players who funded the title. In light of these questions, Rabbit & Bear Studios has expressed itself through comments from our colleagues at Gamekult, who suggest that the title is not restricted to any specific platform. On this occasion, the developers remember that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is edited and distributed by 505 Games. By carefully reading the various comments from supporters, we clearly see that there are concerns about the possible release of the Eiyuden Chronicle in connection with a particular PC platform. As mentioned earlier, we have confirmed with potential publishing partners, including 505 Games, that the game will not be released exclusively on PC. (…) We know that some people have had bad experiences with previous Kickstarters, especially on this particular point, and we wanted to reaffirm our commitment to releasing the game on a particular platform with no exclusivity. Suikoden, Eidyden Chronicle should therefore not follow The Path of Shenmue III, whose temporary exclusivity was only announced on the Epic Games Store after the crowdfunding campaign ended. This had sparked a minor scandal that forced Epic Games to reimburse the players who supported the project for the Steam version.
